ARTIST SUPPORT PLEDGE is simple:
Post images of your artwork on social media for no more than £220 (or $220 / €220 / A$330 / C$330 / ¥22,000), plus shipping. Anyone can buy the work directly from you.
Every time you reach £1,100 in sales (or $1,100 / A$1,650 / C$1,650 / ¥110,000), you pledge to purchase another artist’s work for £220.

How to take part

  • Tag us: @artistsupportpledge — this helps your work appear in our tagged posts, which is now the most reliable way for the community and collectors to see new pieces.
  • Use the hashtag: #artistsupportpledge — this still helps with search and keeps the project connected across platforms.
  • Share your post widely: telling friends, colleagues and collectors helps the whole community grow.
  • Engage with each other: comment, save, share — this boosts visibility for everyone involved.

NB/ Make sure your account is set to public. To do this click on the three lines on the top right of your page, click settings, privacy and public (you can switch back at any time).

Top tips for selling work on ASP: Make sure the images are good (use a tripod, consider investing in a tripod adaptor if using your phone) and your descriptions are clear. Tell the story around your work on your account, then if people go to see your account they will find out more about you. Do the IN VIEW post and tag all the artists (Generosity is Infectious). If you have a Facebook account make sure it’s linked with Instagram, that way everything you post also goes onto Facebook too, Finally, keep it updated, and most importantly tell people about it, it’s a dynamic market so needs attention and renewal to make it work.
